It's a Brand New Day!

Happy New Year Printing Apes enthusiast. It is a brand new day! We invite you to stop doom scrolling through newsfeeds and invite the new year in with us with a cheery blog post and 20% off sitewide.

It’s true that we like using good old-fashioned snail mail to send cards full of warm wishes. Yet, today we’d like to share a post for all to see and perhaps make some spirits bright during this New Year. Maybe you’ll crack a smile at some of our witty puns. Maybe you’ll shed a tear and remember what meant most to you in 2020. Or maybe…just maybe, you’ll be awe-inspired and it will forever change your outlook and life’s purpose in a fantastical way. Okay, so we have some high standards but in the end we just want to bring a piece of us to you and get to know you better in return.

Which brings us to Printing Apes first New Year’s resolution, getting to know our customers. We want to keep you all involved. Invite you to share your ideas and your passions with our team and let us turn them into gifts to share with the world. Maybe there’s a message or a piece of art that you have been wanting to put on display for the world to see. We can be a part of making that happen. So, send us your struggles and your aspirations as we strive to be more than a company, but a listening ear that supports those whom support others. In the words of Alex Boyé,

“Let's grow together, heal together.
Find true strength from one another.
Smiles be many tears are few
May all your dreams come back to you”

Now, we can imagine that, depending on how late you were up last night (we personally are choosing to celebrate NOON Year’s Day and enjoy our sleep), you and those around you may be dealing with a bit of sleepy time blues. Laughing produces all kinds of happy energetic chemicals and gets a nice dose of oxygen to the brain (we think, sorry no legitimate resources here). So how’s about a laugh to turn those sleepy time blues around, at least for a bit?
Yes?

Perfect, that brings us to our second resolution for 2021 which is to bring more laughter to the world. We enjoy the humorous assortment of clever products we offer…but let’s not push those now. Instead, how does a sneak peak at some of the New Year’s jokes we are prepping for 2022 products. Maybe you’ve heard better. Maybe you’ll find a favorite right here. Let us know.

Hmm…which one to start with. Shall we go in order of cheesiest first or surprise you? Okay, here we go.

Q: Why do birds fly south for New Year’s Eve?
A: Because it’s too far to walk.

Okay, okay we can do better than that.

Knock, Knock
Who’s there?
Howie.
Howie who?
Howie gonna stay up till midnight? I’m tired!

LOL…so true, so true.

Q: What was the caterpillar’s New Year's resolution?
A: To turn over a new leaf.

Okay one more…one more.

Q: What happened to the lady who shoplifted a calendar on New Year’s Eve?
A: She got 12 months!

Haha, pretty good right?

Even if you had to hold back your smile, we hope these knee-slappers brightened your day. Which is really what it’s all about. We want to offer you outstanding customer service and earn a 5-star review. Our goal this year, and every year, is to continue to work on ways to improve our services, our products, and our outreach in order to keep our customers happy. In analyzing what worked and what didn’t this last year we are aiming to upgrade some strategies. Specific goals we are implementing are to bring you live support, answering product requests, improving our websites functionality and load time, supporting the foundations you want to support, bringing you the ease of shopping with us on Facebook as part of our marketing efforts, and keeping things fun with on going giveaways and contests.

With the new year on the horizon, many of us are planning our New Year’s resolutions. Some may want to learn a new skill, eat a bushel of berries each day and up their antioxidants, or perhaps travel more. What ever the case may be, our wish for you is to embrace it with an open heart and go forward with hope and courage. May it bring you a promising and fulfilling New Year!

So now it’s your turn. We’d love to hear about your best and worst parts of 2020? What you aspire for in 2021? Maybe last year there was a memorable moment, person or cause. Were you inspired? And lastly, what would you like to see from us in the coming year?

Comment, share, take care…and on a closing note (safely with sanitizer in hand and face shields on) GO OUTSIDE among other people and try to relearn all those social cues some of us have forgotten while being tucked away indoors for the year. Happy New Year!
